About Me

What started out as a sandbox for my Buddhism classes has really blossomed into a discussion of life, philosophy and religion. If you look through my blog postings, there is likely a discussion that applies to you.

Feel free to comment or get in touch with me if something is on your mind!

  1. Hi David. If you haven’t already, you may like to read the book ‘Siddartha’ by Herman Hess. It can be found as a free pdf download usually.

If you don’t know it, it’s not a technical manual on buddhism (no such thing exists) but nevertheless you may find it an eye opener.

    1. Pentaprismics, I was at Barnes and Nobles today with my 13 year old son. He is not Buddhist but they covered Buddhism at school. I was looking for their books on Buddhism but didn’t find anything that really peaked my interest. On the way out, my son says to me “Dad, there is a book on Siddhartha..”, (I didn’t even know he knew the Buddha’s name, lol) I look and it is the book you recommended! I picked it up but it will likely be a while before I read it since I have a few books that I picked up through my Buddhism class. I do look forward to reading it, thanks for the recommendation.

      1. You’re welcome! Perhaps the book was looking for you and not the other way around. 🙂

I’ll make s short list of resources for you during this week., and you can have a look through that if you wish. I think it may be helpful.
